I want to welcome you to our website. My name is Father Kevin McEwan, pastor of St. Mary’s Church, Ticonderoga, New York and Sacred Heart Church, Crown Point, New York in the Diocese of Ogdensburg. For those of you who are not local, both of our communities were very important during revolutionary days.
We are located in Eastern New York State on the Vermont border in a most beautiful section of New York State, between Lake George on the South and Lake Champlain on the North. Now, each community has restored forts and battlegrounds of the Revolutionary War. A great deal of history has touched our parishes. For the parishioners of St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart, this website will be an important way for me to keep in touch with you.
You will find here parish news, regular and special schedules and plenty of pictures of the activities of our parishes. I hope that you check in often to keep involved in parish life.
